Pradegal is focused on becoming the most responsible version of ourselves. We are committed to minimizing our social and environmental impact by making better decisions every step of the way – from the fabrics and materials used, all the way to the end of a product's life cycle. 

We aim to source quality fabrics that feel good and meet standards of responsibility. Some of our preferred fabric list includes: 

DEADSTOCK - Rolls of fabric that is left unsold or unused by a fabric mill or from a brands production run. A sustainable alternative to purchasing new fabric. 

OEKO-TEX Certified - The fabric has been tested for toxic substances and therefore is harmless for human health. 

RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) & RAS (Responsible Alpaca Standard) - Ensures that wool comes from farms that have a progressive approach to managing their land, practice holistic respect for animal welfare of the sheep and respect the Five Freedoms of animal welfare.

GOTS (Global Organic Textiles Standard) - The highest worldwide standard for the processing of organic fibres. This comprehensive standard covers the entire textile chain—from the sustainable, ethical harvesting of organically grown plants through eco-friendly and socially responsible manufacturing and labelling practices. 

GRS (Global Recycled Standard) - Guarantees recycled textiles with additional environmental and social criteria such as reduction of the harmful impact of production on people and the environment, high percentages of recycled content in products, and responsible production.
